Perception of a Self

"I'm just living tryna' convey what I wish to portray but still unconvinced of who that is anyway"

For me, I usually write songs as single entities but as our years compile into chapters, many of the songs end up having similar themes. It’s been a journey fitting all of them together into a cohesive story figuring where they would fit in this particular puzzle. An ode to my hometown, to my past selves and to that which no longer serves me. Addiction….
Sobriety and watching addiction still happen around me. Having an idea of what everything was and watching it rapidly change. Anxiety, depression, love and healing. 

This project was made possible through being awarded the Lamphouse endowment emerging artist bursary, through The Town of Canmore in December 2022.
